Mortgage Rates – June 11, 2026

Mortgage rates for June have been relatively unchanged as the markets continue their wild ride in response to the conflict between the United States and Iran. The latest news is that a peace deal is imminent, however, we have heard that before.
This week we received a mix of positive and negative economic news. Employment numbers surprised many with 172,000 jobs created in May. Not long after the celebrations, inflation numbers came in at a whopping 4.2%.
Still, rates can be competitive if you shop around. The first step is finding a lender to get pre-approved so you can lock when the time is right.
