Mortgage Rates – March 13, 2026
Mortgage rates continue to creep up this week as markets tank due to the war in Iran. This week we saw the DOW sink 2% after news that oil has been effectively blocked from passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This is spooking markets as rising oil prices and inflation are sure to follow.
The next Fed meeting is on deck and expectations are that they will stay the course and leave rates as they are. It goes without saying, a lot can change from now to March 17th. Stay tuned!
